Deliveries, Returns and Refunds
Shipping and delivery policy
All products are made to order and as such, after payment has been received, a minimum of three to five days is required to fulfil your order. Customised projects and bulk orders may take between two weeks and a month to fulfil. You will be notified as soon as your order is ready for collection or delivery.
Available delivery areas are identified at the checkout process when the delivery address is entered, and it remains the responsibility of the customer to ensure the delivery address is correct.
A delivery fee will be charged for each delivery order placed by you. Depending on your location this fee and the delivery time will vary. Should a change in estimated delivery time occur, you will be notified via email or text.
Once your order has been dispatched, the courier company will contact you to make arrangements for delivery. Should no-one be available at the delivery address specified by you at the time of delivery, the driver will return the products to the collection depot and notify you. Zed Axis Precision Woodwork reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required under these circumstances.
Zed Axis Precision Woodwork has outsourced all deliveries and accordingly, cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the courier.
Please note, the delivery times below are estimates only.
Despite our best efforts, these estimated times may be affected by stock availability.
In most instances, the following times from a duly paid for order (this excludes days required to manufacture the product) to delivery will apply:
· To Lusaka: 3 – 5 business days
· Within Kitwe: same day delivery
Our courier delivers between 09:00 and 17:00 on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your products. However, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part.
Upon immediate receipt of your order, please inspect it, and contact Zed Axis Precision Woodwork if:
* there is noticeable damage to the product,
* the product(s) shipped to you have been sent in error,
so we can start on working and organising a workable solution for you, which may of course involve a free exchange, replacement, or a refund.
Zed Axis Precision Woodwork accepts returns within 14 days of purchase (date as appears on your invoice), provided the returned product is unused and in saleable condition. In the event that you opt for a refund on a returned item, the refund will be processed via the initial payment method (i.e. return EFT to the same bank account, mobile money account or return payment to the same credit card used for your purchase). Please note that all returned products must be returned in the same condition as you received them.
In certain circumstances, we may accept an order and be unable to fulfil it. As we work with organic materials, the quality and workability of desired designs may result in the need for us to reject your order after payment has been made. Zed Axis Precision Woodwork will indicate its rejection of your order by cancelling it and, as soon as possible thereafter, refund you for any amount already paid, credit your account or recommend a comparable item.
Refund / Return Exceptions
Zed Axis Precision Woodwork does not provide refunds or exchanges on special order items, personalised products or bulk orders.
The amount of time it takes for a refund to return depends solely on the bank or card issuer. Some banks/card issuers finalize refunds within a couple of business days, while others may wait until the end of the statement month to display and process refunds. If the refund seems to be taking more than one week, you can also contact your bank or card issuer to ask about their usual time frames.
We reserve the right to amend the above at our discretion and continued use of Zed Axis Precision Woodwork will be deemed acceptance of this Return Policy.
